We'd like to invite the public to take part in a consultation on our brand new Welsh Language Scheme. The consultation will last for four weeks ending on 12th Dec 2008.
In order to respect the language choices of our service users, Funky Dragon has adopted the principle that in the conduct of public business in Wales, it will treat the English and Welsh languages on a basis of equality. The scheme sets out how we will give effect to that principle when providing services to the public.
The voluntary scheme has been prepared in accordance with the Welsh Language Board's Guidelines under the Welsh Language Act 1993, and it is hoped it will be formally approved by the Welsh Language Board following the consultation process.
Funky Dragon welcomes comments and suggestions regarding its Welsh Language Scheme. Responses need to be received by 12th December 2008 and can be submitted by letter, fax or email to:
