United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC)
On the 20th November 2009 the Welsh Assembly Government are celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the adoption of the United Nations of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) by the UN General Committee.
The Assembly Government will be hosting a small scale celebratory event at the Senedd where Jane Hutt, Minister for Children, Education, Lifelong Learning and Skills will be launching the Welsh Assembly Government’s Action Plan ‘Getting it Right’ which sets out actions for taking forward the UNCRC over the next 5 years in Wales.
